The new Student Amenities Building at Grambling State University is a cornerstone of the university’s campus revitalization initiative—serving as a central hub for student engagement, wellness, and community life. Designed by M3A Architecture + Design, the facility embodies the progressive vision of GSU: blending contemporary architecture with the warmth and tradition of one of the nation’s most storied Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Division 12 Consulting was selected to provide comprehensive furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) services for the project, supporting both the design team and university administration in developing cohesive, functional, and durable interior environments. The Division 12 team worked closely with M3A to ensure the selected furnishings complemented the architectural design language and enhanced the building’s role as a vibrant gathering space for students.

Key project features include:

• Student Lounge & Commons: Flexible soft seating, collaborative tables, and integrated power solutions to support study, socialization, and digital connectivity.

• Dining & Food Service Areas: Durable, hospitality-grade furnishings designed for high-traffic student use while maintaining a modern aesthetic.

• Meeting & Multipurpose Rooms: Configurable furniture systems supporting student organizations, leadership training, and campus events.

• Game & Recreation Zones: Youthful, dynamic furnishings that encourage engagement and community interaction.

Division 12 Consulting provided end-to-end FF&E solutions—including specification, procurement, logistics, installation, and post-occupancy support—ensuring all spaces met GSU’s standards for quality, comfort, and functionality.
