Stephens Residence Hall, located on the historic campus of Alabama A&M University, is undergoing a comprehensive renovation to modernize student living accommodations while preserving the building’s architectural integrity and legacy. The renovation represents a continued commitment by the University to enhance the on-campus residential experience, creating a more comfortable, safe, and community-oriented environment for its students.
Scope of Work
The renovation includes extensive interior and exterior upgrades designed to meet the needs of today’s student population. Improvements encompass new finishes, lighting, flooring, furniture, and mechanical systems, as well as ADA-compliant accessibility features. The project also includes a full landscaping enhancement to improve the building’s curb appeal and create inviting outdoor gathering spaces that blend with the campus’s rolling hillside views.

Furniture & Interior Solutions
Division 12 Consulting was selected to provide comprehensive FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) solutions for the project. The Division 12 team collaborated closely with the architects and University officials to specify durable, high-quality furniture designed for residential comfort, longevity, and flexibility. The selections reflect modern aesthetics aligned with the University’s identity and student lifestyle.
